Monthly walkthroughs without the clipboard
EPA 40 CFR 280 expects every UST owner to do a 26-item walkthrough every 30 days. Most operators run it on paper, stuff the form in a drawer, and pray the inspector doesn't ask for the last 12 months. We replace the drawer with a phone.
What's included
- 26-item checklist. The federal-baseline walkthrough verbatim, organized by area (containment / vents / spill buckets / overfill / cathodic / dispensers / general).
- Photo evidence on FAIL items. Snap, attach, move on.
- Auto-scoring + PDF. Pass / Fail / Partial computed from the 26 answers. PDF generated on completion and stored in your archive.
- Deadline tracking. Today widget reminds you on day 28 and marks the walkthrough overdue at day 31.
- Inspector view. Last 12 months of walkthrough records accessible from a single share-link.
Why this matters
The walkthrough is the cheapest insurance against fuel-leak fines. If an inspector finds a problem AND you have documented walkthroughs showing you caught it, you typically get a corrective-action window. No walkthroughs? Straight to the penalty schedule.
